A walk and picnic among the olive trees, part of Città dell'Olio's national initiative celebrating olive-growing landscapes and outdoor conviviality.
Why we created it
In 2026 the national initiative reached its sixth edition, involving about 80 Oil Cities across 17 regions. Its theme, The Olive Tree of the Republic, marks the Italian Republic's 80th anniversary and uses the tree as a symbol of peace, shared roots and care for the landscape; the local date falls at the close of the national programme that began on 25 April.
